HCI Giving Tree thrift stores sell and accept donations of gently used furniture, decor, home goods, collectibles and clothing. All our proceeds support services provided to hospice patients and families served by the non-profit organization, HCI Hospice Care Services (formerly Hospice of Central Iowa).
The first time you visit our stores (in Urbandale, Iowa and in Des Moines' East Village), you will be surprised by what you find. We create the feel of a department store or boutique and only offer the highest quality merchandise. You'll find many well-known designers and great brands - all offered at great prices.
Donor support helps HCI Hospice Care Services ensure our compassionate services are available to anyone who needs our care. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay for care services, thanks to our financial assistance program. Donor support also benefits our quality of life program and helps make final wishes happen for our patients, creating lasting, meaningful memories for their families.
July 7th, we're thrilled to open our second location, in Des Moines' historic East Village!
We're located at 521 East Locust Street, Suite 102. Handicap accessible entrance at this spot, front doors on E 6th St, across from Noodle Zoo.
A little of your time can make a huge difference! Please consider becoming a volunteer at HCI Giving Tree. We need volunteers who can help us behind the scenes. Many opportunities are available at both of our locations as well as for special events.
If you're ready to make a commitment of at least 4 hours a week, contact Katie Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 515-270-2414.
